Hi CubeCraft Team and Community,

I’d like to propose something that I believe could both expand the CubeCraft game lineup and breathe new life into competitive gameplay: making "Destroy the Core" its own dedicated game mode—separate from Giga BlockWars, with smaller teams, tailored maps, and a more fast-paced, strategic focus.

Why “Destroy the Core” Deserves the Spotlight:

Many of us in competitive community love CubeCraft’s strategic team games—like EggWars and BlockWars CTF—for their mix of tactics, mechanical skill, and fast-paced moments. But Giga BlockWars, while an awesome concept, can often feel too chaotic with 50v50 players and long queues. The current format dilutes the experience of fantastic game concepts like Destroy the Core, which easily has the depth and replay value to stand alone.

What Makes “Destroy the Core” Great:

  • Objective-based gameplay that encourages coordination and smart plays, much like BedWars or EggWars.
  • Multiple attack/defense routes and the potential for deep strategy—perfect for players who enjoy planning and adapting.
  • Exciting core-breaking moments that create dramatic shifts and clutch plays, giving that adrenaline and dopamine hit we all crave.

Proposed Features:

  • Smaller teams (e.g. 5v5, 8v8, or 10v10) to focus the gameplay and reduce chaos. Play it with 4 or 8 teams respectively to make it more similar to bedwars or eggwars.
  • New maps or tweaked versions from Giga BlockWars designed specifically for smaller, high-intensity matches.
  • Ranked or tournament support down the line—this mode has huge potential for the competitive scene. We have all seen how much interest eggwars league has garnered, if this game mode was developed it would be incredible to do a tournament on.

Why Now?

CubeCraft has already shown a willingness to innovate and rotate fresh ideas into the server. “Destroy the Core” has proven appeal, but right now it’s buried inside a niche mode. With identity, it could thrive—both casually and competitively.

Let’s unlock this hidden gem. “Destroy the Core” could easily become the next staple of CubeCraft’s game roster, and it has all the elements to be a favorite among both casual and competitive players alike.

Thanks for considering this suggestion—I really hope the community and the team give this one a serious look!

Ngl one of the best suggestions I've seen on here. Hope the Team listen !!!
Honestly it’s so underrated…the premise of the game is actually incredible, whoever thought it up is genius. I hope they are able to do something with the idea. I do appreciate I have no understanding of what goes into the development of new game modes or how difficult it might be to do, but I genuinely wholeheartedly believe if it was released in its own right, it’s the type of game people love and would be amazing to do tournaments on and also to watch people play on YouTube, similar to eggwars and such 🙏

Defo! Could a mod move this to the correct section pls?
Thank you, I didn’t realise I had put it in the wrong section. I have had a lot of fun times on cube over the last few years and playing this game was one of those times. It’s got the exhilaration factor a lot of people crave, but when I talk to people on cube, a lot have no idea it existed, or have never played and it’s such a shame.
