Denied Discord Java / Bedrock Changelog roles

Add two roles with name @java Changelog and @Bedrock Changelog
Players who play on one specific platform basically don't need updates for a platform they don't play on

Agreed, this would be a small change, but really useful!

I'm feeling quite unsure about that as when the changelog will contains the both network you will need to ping two roles instead of one.

I agree that it would be way more useful to get pings for only the platforms you play on, but a the person making the changelog announcement could forget one ping when both platforms are concerned by the changes made or without noticing it ping the wrong role in the rush of the announcement.

I mean, they don't forget to put the 'Java', 'Bedrock' or 'Java/Bedrock' prefix behind everything as well. I don't think that would be the issue. Only thing you can disagree with for this thread imo is that it looks less clean, but I personally prefer use over looks

The server team discussed your suggestion, and we have unfortunately decided to deny it.

Currently the structure that developers require to follow for every message in there is already quite complicated. Adding a new thing to this, like tags, overcomplicates the messages, which isn't worth it in our eyes. This could potentially change in the future, but for now we disagree.
