I have an Obsidian Rank, but I can't fly in the lobby.

I purchased the Permanent Obsidian Rank in 2019, and I even still have the receipt.

During a recent update in April or May, when I logged back into the game, I found that I could no longer fly in the lobby. I tried to change my flight status in the settings, but it wouldn’t let me.

The system message I received said, “You need the Obsidian Rank to fly in the lobby.” Why is that?

You meant before it was working, but after a server update it is not working.
Check if your rank is still active.
Still not, Report a Admin.

Ranks are no longer a one-time purchase, they are a monthly subscription now.

Edit: apparently you get to keep it if you purchased it before the implementation of monthly subscriptions, in that case, you should get in contact with a staff member...

We are aware of this issue and will be fixed as soon as possible. As longs as /fly still works to some degree then it's something at least.

The Obsidian Rank title is still there, and I can still vote on the game's difficulty and duration. It's just that I can't fly in the lobby anymore.
