Video i dont understand (plz answer for me)

so theres alot of people making videos on youtube, but heres one thing i dont get

i think these videos were really well made, i upload at reasonable times, and i know how to edit properly.
but i only have 28 subscribers and like 1400 views while some channels (not gonna say names)
make really unproffesional videos that were just thrown togethor or have no purpose.
but yet somehow they have like 180 or 300 or even 500+ subs and they only have like 7 videos.
why is this the case am i doing something wrong,are they just lucky? and also if your a small minecraft youtuber
maybe we can collab. :D

I can say a way they use: Spam.
Spamming in comments or other youtuber channels. Also in servers, using alts, bots, etc

Wow... I liked... I just watched your Eggwars video, good gameplay and editing.
A tip: When you talk in your video, show yourself more energic! That gives you "points"

yeah ive been getting mixed feelings about my commentary and heres where i dont know what to do.
i looked into it people say "be yourself" but me personally im not that energetic im mostly a chill person with alot of sass. (not my words XD)
