I don't get the desert island

this is my problem: get the quest to unlock the desert island,completed but i wait for a friend to claim the reward and explore the new island togheter.when we came back we do not have the quest anymore so we cant spawn the desert island.

Hmm, I don't know what could have happened there. If you have evidence you could make a bug report. :)
