I can't see the chat messages

I can't see chat messages I don't know why I send messages in chat and my friends can't see them either. I went to check if the mute was turned on and it wasn't =( can someone help me please.

If that doesn’t work then you’re most likely shadow muted, which is something we can’t help you with as it’s a punishment automatically issued by Microsoft
