How to travel between islands?

I just completed the Oak Forest island, but I need to get to the Plains island.

You can buy blocks in the shop, you can also craft some wood with your trees on your island :)
Slabs are also an option ^w^

You're able to gather blocks and build between different islands, if you are unable to see the other island, I would recommend turning up your render distance.

Here's a tip: Using slabs requires less resources.

I though i could teleport between islands.

No, you cannot teleport between islands, you'll have to build between them.
