Good Idea 1.8

Its a good idea because 1.9 is so bad you need to hit slowly and its very embrassing! I want 1.8 back!

Maybe phase 1.8 into a full network? The more popular the gamemode is on 1.9+ the earlier it gets added to 1.8, that way we'll be able to see how the more popular games do before having all gamemodes on both versions.

I would honestly love to have more 1.8 games, but since 1.8 players make up a small fraction of the total player base, too much effort would be involved for the developers/staff to be worth it. Maybe in the future.

Currently, a lot of 1.9 games are dead ( UHC is a great example)
these games will be dead in 1.8 too.

As much as I'd love to have 1.8 get the same amount of love 1.9+ does, I don't think it's practical.
1.8's player base is pretty small as it is, and these games would spread out the player base even more & it would take forever for all of the games to fill and start.
Aside that, 1.9+ is the priority for a good reason & shouldn't necessarily be hindered by the 1.8 networks. Adding all games from 1.9+ to 1.8 would require Cube to make a lot of changes to existing game mechanics and generally be a big mess.
Think about Elytra's, shields, shulkers, special arrows, etc. All of these features would need to be reworked to fit 1.8, and for what? They would likely not even play half of the games that are provided, and this means (as I stated earlier) games will take forever to start, which leads to less players playing said game.

yeah i know people prefer the 1.9 PvP, but here we have a lot of people "classic" who love 1.8 and maybe not all games but add more like Survival Games, Ultra Hardcore yes are this type of classic minigames, i hope cubecraft do it :), Grettings

Yeah, i agree. If they just added 1.8.9 to the server i think more players will join and play the gamemodes. (For example Ultra Hardcore)
