Glowing effect problem

Hi there

I'm experiencing a problem with my glow effect, it has been like this for a long time, but was too lazy to fix it. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? (I think it has something to do with optifine, because when I uninstall opfinine, I don't have any problems with the effect)

Edit: Options > Video Settings > Performance > Fast Render

wut? I see you're using faithful, does the options background (as it's called) look high quality or like default?

I woudn't say it's high quality, but it's better than default (32x32 are the dimentions of the picture in the GUI map)
