I dont think you should get mad at everyone who disagrees with your idea. I dont really like the emeralds. But a villager at mid would be cool. The problem with that though is that people can camp mid while gearing up. I like how you get recourses in mid and run back to mid to convert them into gear. And that gives others a chance too!

Yes, however everyone would run to mid to try to get to that villager, so it would be like a battle :3

and its like how people stay at their base with a level 3 diamond and get GOD APPLES. if u were to stay at mid u can win cuz villager trades = OP ITEMS and like I said theres no emerald generator at your home island
