Fishing Rod PvP

I love the PvP with Fishing rod, but i can't hit somebody with the Fishing Rod.
My suggestion is can you fix that I can hit somebody with my Fishing Rod

go to the nexus if you want to use a rod. Oh wait you cant. they shut that server down RIP

What's the point of PvPing with a Fishing Rod?

If you switch to your sword and hit your opponent with it right as the bobber hits your opponent you do double the damage & if you hit someone with it they take a little bit of vertical knockback giving you the "low ground advantage" effect.
