Helping mods and people in staff-help can also be done without a rank. Over time you will most certainly discover which translators are trustworthy and you don't need a rank for that.

They need a staff rank to respond in staff-help, first of all.
For helping: Mods would have to go to Translation Team Discord, ask for a translation to English. Come up with a response, ask for a translation from English. And over and over. This way, they can just easily communicate in staff channels or directly help in staff-help.

By the sounds of it, you don't have an issue with the translator ranks and you're just flagging there's a lot of them which is, in any case, a fact and not a suggestion.
