Is there an option to choose what world event happens or does it have to be random? Because if it's a voting option anyway, there should be an option to vote for what kind and not just whether it exists.

Hello CubeCrafters!

It's finally time for the long awaited Survival Games update. We have loads of new features, new maps, a new lobby, new kits, new achievements and much more.

Maps and New Lobby
There is now a brand new lobby and 3 new maps for Survival Games.


Greek (Holds teams of 2)

Chest Refills
Chests at the centre of the map will now refill every 5 minutes until the world border starts to close in. Refilled chests will contain half as many items as a normal chest, so if you're in dire need of more supplies, head to the middle before anyone else!

World Events
There have been a lot of changes to how the world events work within Survival Games. All world events can now happen in all of the maps and are chosen at random. We have also made world events a voting option for all players that have an Iron rank or above to vote on. World events will be disabled by default for all games. We have made some minor changes to the existing world events as well as adding 5 new ones.

Sponsoring
The sponsoring system has also been expanded to make it easier for all players to sponsor other players when dead. You can now type '/sponsor' or click on the information given in chat to open a new sponsoring menu which will show you all of the alive players in the game and if you can sponsor them as well as how many sponsors they have left. If you're playing team Survival Games you will not be able to sponsor players on other teams until all players on your own team have died. It is now also possible to sponsor players inside buildings or under structures providing the sponsored player is in an open space.

Achievements
9 New Solo and 9 New Team Achievements have been added

SOLO
Fatal flame - Kill a player with fire.
Caveman - Win without eating cooked food.
District destroyer - Kill 10 people in one game.
Butcher - Kill 25 animals in one game.
First Blood - Get your first kill in solo survival games.

Survivalist - Get 10 kills in solo survival games.
Gravedigger- Get 100 kills in solo survival games.
Lord death- Get 1000 kills in solo survival games.
Grim Reaper- Get 10,000 kills in solo survival games.


TEAM
50/50 - Get a kill or an assist by dealing 50% of the damage.

Long live the King - Kill an enemy with fall damage.
Vengeance - Kill a player that killed your teammate.
Moneybags - Sponsor 3 of your teammates in one game.
Murderer - Kill 10 animals in one game.

Pack rat - Loot 20 chests in one game.
Double Kill - Kill 2 players in one game.
Rampage- Kill 5 players in one game.
District demolisher - Kill 10 players in one game.



Voting
We have also done a minor change to the voting. When the voting closes and shows the results, you can now hover over each category to show a breakdown of the votes.

Change Log
  • Golden ingots have been added to chests for normal.
  • Added fishing rods to all modes.
  • Doubled the amount of healing potions on basic.
  • Removed enderpearls from normal.
  • Removed fire aspect weapons from normal.
  • Removed lava buckets and TNT from basic.
  • Teaming warnings have been added at the start of the the game.
  • Icons used in voting menus have been changed.
  • Descriptions on the chest voting have been changed to match the loot on that mode.
  • Chests in the middle will refill every 5 minutes (Chests will not refill if the borders have started closing in).
  • Refilled middle chests contain more compasses to help track players
  • A close menu icon has been added for the shop.
  • Tips have been updated.
  • World borders will start shrinking when there are now 4 players left instead of 3 players.
  • Dead players will also receive the rewards for winning if their team still wins in team.
  • All players start the game with saturation.
  • Hunger will not start to deplete until the grace period has ended.
  • Added end of game stats.
  • Stopped players from being able to place water on barrier blocks
  • Cobblestone from water and lava conversion will disappear overtime now.
SPONSORING
  • Players are now told who sponsored them.
  • You can now sponsor players who have blocks above them.
  • /sponsor will now open a player select menu.
  • Sponsored menu tells you how many sponsors a player has left
  • Teams - Players can only sponsor their own team until all their team has been eliminated.
KITS
  • NEW Medic kit.
  • NEW Guardian kit.
  • NEW Diver kit.
  • Mans Best Friend kit now gives you 1 wolf instead of 2.
  • Mans Best Friend kit wolf has resistance 1.
  • Human Tracker kit cost changed from 800 to 500.
  • Cannibal kit saturation duration changed to 2 seconds.
  • Cannibal kit can no longer eat corpses.
  • Brewing accident kit each effect duration changed to 30 seconds.
  • Vampire kit now gains 2 hearts and 2 seconds of (Regeneration II) when killing a player.
  • Ninja kit can no longer turn invisible.
  • Ninja kit 10% chance of dodging another players attack.
  • Ninja Kit now includes black leather boots (Feather Falling I).
  • Double Edged kit attack damage increased from 20% to 25%.
  • Double Edged kit damage taken reduced from 25% to 20%
  • Bloodlust kit changed to 5% damage boost
  • Bloodlust kit 1/2 heart removed per kill and can now stack 4 times.
  • Brewing accident kits negative effects have been changed to mining fatigue and slowness only.
  • Brewing accident kits potion effects occur every 30 seconds now.
  • Players can now choose their kits in the pre lobby.
  • Kits in the shop have been rearranged based on price.

  • NEW Toxic Waste - Parts of the world get tainted with toxic waste, if a player is within the toxic waste they will be poisoned.
  • NEW Raining Cats and Dogs - Cats and Wolves will fall from the sky.

  • Hover text has been added to voting results allowing players to see the full breakdown of results for each voting category.

*You can't eat corpses anymore with Cannibal kit? Wtf ! What will i do now if i get abused by teamers or a hacker now?

I don't like this update for this part. Otherwise it's a good relive for SG

Because you can no longer use your overpowered kits to beat everybody. :)

How much hunger/saturation do 2 seconds of the saturation effect give you? I didn't play with the cannibal since the update because finally other kits are viable too. According to the (often wrong) minecraft wiki, it should give 1 hunger and 2 saturation levels per tick. In my survival world, using `effect MagnificentSpam saturation 12 0` gave me 12 hunger levels almost instantly (within one second instead of over 12 seconds).
I think it would be easier if the cannibal gave the player instant hunger and saturation instead of the saturation effect. It should be about the effect of eating one steak.
After all, it's way better to have one underpowered kit than one overpowered kit. If a kit is underpowered you can chose any other kit, if it's overpowered you have to chose that kit every single time.

Absolutely agree with that. I tried the cannibal now, killing a player brought me from 8 to 20 hunger levels almost instantly and gave me enough saturation to sprint+jump around very long until I had to eat again. In a fight all that saturation would've gone into health. Definitely way more than eating a steak.

Compared to kits that give you some item at the start of the game that you have a good chance of finding anyway this is a *very* good kit.
