Eggwars Block Suggestions

[Power Ranger]

Most of the blocks in the eggwars shop are mostly usless (glass, hay bales) so I'm going to suggest some rpelacements for these :D

Ladders - Can be used for speed bridging, climbing, and in certain situations preventing fall damage.
Costs: Hardcore - 16 Iron
Normal - 8 Iron
OverPowered - 4 Iron

Cobwebs - Can be used to reduce knockback taken on bridges, prevent fall damage, protect an egg, slow enemies.
Costs: Hardcore - 10 Gold
Normal - 5 Gold
OverPowered - 2 Gold

Iron Blocks (Maybe Bars) - Mid Range Egg Defence, Dangerous Bridges
Costs: Hardcore - 64 Iron
Normal - 32 Iron
OverPowered - 16 Iron

Packed Ice - Longer Jumps, Dangerous Bridges, Faster Movement
Costs: Hardcore - 16 Iron
Normal - 8 Iron
OverPowered - 4 Iron

Magma Block - Egg Defence, Dangerous Bridges
Costs: Hardcore - 48 Iron
Normal - 24 Iron
OverPowered - 12 Iron

Soul Sand - Egg Defence, Slow Bridges
Costs: Hardcore - 32 Iron
Normal - 16 Iron
OverPowered - 8 Iron

First let me clarify.
Glass isnt useless its a very cheap block allowing you to make walls where you can watch the enemy without the risk of being bowspammed off.
Hay bales. Mostly implemented for the purpose of lowering fall damage but also a good egg defense since no tool has an advantage when breaking hay bales.
Now to yours suggestions:
ladders: with a higher cost ok. I font like the fact that they can prevent fall damage.
cobwebs: no block should prevent fall damage completly.
Iron blocks: might be a good idea. I dont see a point but ok.
packed ice: higher cost and its fine with me.
magma blocks: remove 1.9 support just to add a new block to eggwars. No way.
Soul sand: higher cost needed.

I like the ladders, cobwebs and iron bars a lot, but cobweb should be (at least) 10 gold instead of 5, because it's quite good.

I don't like the others. I don't really see the point of iron blocks, ice and soul sand, and magma blocks remove the 1.9 support which is definitely a no-no.

I'd like to see all except the magma blocks and packed ice, because ice can turn to water and magma blocks would remove 1.9 support.

Its pretty much impossible to mlg ladder tho...

A stack for 8 blocks seems fine to me that will barely get you anywhere and this is meant to cap off every bridge you make

Again 4 blocks for an entire stack of iron is very little and soul sand doesnt even have that many important uses

I don't really see the point of iron blocks

Iron blocks: might be a good idea. I dont see a point but ok.

I just think there needs to be more levels of protection for your egg since as of now you have 3 ok options: sandstone, obsidian, and chests which isn't very diverse

It definitely isn't. With cobweb you can trap another player just by placing it inside of them. Once that's done they're dead. Also you can't trap players, prevent fall damage and reduce kb all with obsidian right?

I really like the iron block because it is a bit less than obsidian, but still takes a while to break. It would also be useful for anti-spleef bridges if you want to take your time building bridges. I don't really like the others as I think they will change strategy of the game of being annoying.

Maybe it's just boring me, but I loved Eggwars since the first time it got on Cubecraft. Nowadays it's the almost the only Minecraft game I play (a little less because of all the hackers). I never really were a big fan of the hardcore and OP mode they added later. So I just like it the way it has been from the beginning :)

Do they really? I like putting obsidian on then pretty much rushing everyone. Maybe put a team mate back to defend.

1. Choose Treehouse team orange.
2. Grab 23 Iron, 5 for a wood sword and 36 sandstone.
3. Speed build to blue and eliminate them.
4. Continue until you have a full circle around the map.

Maybe it's just boring me, but I loved Eggwars since the first time it got on Cubecraft. Nowadays it's the almost the only Minecraft game I play (a little less because of all the hackers). I never really were a big fan of the hardcore and OP mode they added later. So I just like it the way it has been from the beginning :)

Same. I don't see the purpose of adding new blocks cuz people actually do use them (ahem ME).
