Hello, thanks @Nightmare for this wonderful idea. There were no new gamemodes on Cubecraft for a while, so why not to add Dead By Daylight, but in Minecraft. CubeCraft can make a really cool game based on Dead By Daylight.

Well so basically how i would do it on first thought is:
The Killer gets Speed 1 so he can catch up, when a player is hit, they get speed III for 3 Seconds and lose hp. If a player gets hit a second time they will be forced in an animation that locks them in place and the killer can pick them up.
Healing, repairing, picking up survivors, hooking, etc is done by holding shift (crouching key).
Lockers have doors that are made of normal minecraft doors so players can open them manually. Instead of having to implement a locker grab animation for the killer, the killer can just give the survivor a hit instead.
perks are bound to the characters and those that require an activation can be activated by rightclicking the corresponding item in the hotbar.
generators are just buildings with a progress bar above them that you have to shift next to, in order to repair them.

I just realized it would be an amazing addition for the Halloween update as an event gamemode, such as happens with Ender.
would be really hard to make it in time this year i think but i agree. Would be amazing :D
