Custom shields

Hey there!

I was looking around in the Vanity menu and noticed a shield.
Something like this:

And I can't wait untill this will be added!
I'm interrested to see how creative players will make their shields!
Hopefully in the next update this will be a thing ;)

Well, when it's released, you can costumize your own shield using banners, so indeed like OptiFine capes.

i think they will just remove it soon, Idk I think they keep pushing it off I mean its shields :I came on the cosmetic thing and there has been 2-4 updates and 2 new games and its still not out, I dont think its there #1 priority but Idk i hope it comes soon, i suggest dont get your hopes up

From what ive been told by a mod, that is pretty much an abandoned project, the staff member working on that isnt even around anymore, it would be nice to have it though, to march into battle on any gamemode sporting your colors instead of a boring old shield

Then why don't they remove it and leave it behind? Like this is basically hyping people up. But they are ending up getting nothing.
