Bedrock Changing egg skins (eggwars)

So, I'm in a situation where my egg is exposed and someone's running at me right as I'm buying obsidian. Now, I would be able to buy and place the obsidian in time but whenever I'm placing the obsidian, if I try to place it on top, the egg skin menu comes up and that's especially annoying when someone gets your egg because of it so I'm asking for a different way to change your egg skin.

Probably just through the loot menu in the lobby.

maybe , they should allow to change egg skin if the player is shifted.
