Bedrock Cant see what people are holding

I was playing egg wars with some friends when i notices that everyone was punching me and doing more damage then they normal should and placing blocks when nothing is in they're hands. is this an update or a glitch? if its an update then i do not think it is a good one and for me it just ruins the game.

That's unfortunately a well known bug, that's curently trying to be fixed as far as I know.
There's no need to report it.
Hopefully it will get fixed soon:D

The developers are already aware for it.
