Butterfly Clicking

Since Butterfly clicking is now a punishable offense why don't we add it to the list of punishable offenses in the report system

We try to discourage players from butterfly clicking as there is a chance that it will trigger the anti-cheat, which will cause them to get banned by Sentinel. Though, we do not manually ban players if they are doing so, as they are in fact doing nothing wrong. So no, you can't report players for butterfly clicking either. ;)

Just because it gets picked up by Sentinel, doesn't mean it's punishable. Besides, how do you even report for that? How are you going to get valid proof?!

First thing I thought when I read this.

Clearly no, it's discouraged because it will be better for yourself if you don't, since you won't get kicked mid-game (or so they say, absolutely not guaranteed)
It's not bannable, just better for yourself if you don't.

Butterfly clicking is a punishable offense when playing 1.9 PvP, as there is no way you need to click fast. But it's allowed on 1.8 though.

Does the 1.8 version of the ancticheat not detect autoclickers?

Butterfly clicking is similar to an auto clicker because of it's production rate of double clicks, not just CPS.
