Big brain in skyblock

I started playing skyblock today and i since i had too many beetroot seeds i decided to make a composter to transform the seed in bone meal. I tried to use the bone meal on the trees but it didn't work so i used it on the ground and i broke the grass and got a wheat seed. So i got wheat in island 1 . In less than 5 minutes. I was watching some videos and found out that wheat is only obtained in island 3.

I guess when the 1.19 update was released, the staff forgot that giving composters functionality could allow for exploits like this. This seems like it would be a pretty significant skip.
