i was looking for methods to boost fps and to squeeze every bit of performance out of your pc and i found something intresting.By modifying the jvm arguments code,you can tweak a lot of stuff for example entity render distance and most commonly the amount of memory allocated into your game.
Almost everybody knows how to allocate more memory into your game.Just change the first number in the line.
Example -Xmx:4G
But i found a better line of code which not only shows 100%memory allocated in-game but also gives a huge boost of fps.Some people might say that this code is a virus.But trust me,i tested it myself and it gives a huge fps boost
Just copy and paste the following jvm arguments into the profile
-Xmx3G -Xms3G -Xmn768m -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+UseParNewGC -XX:+UseNUMA -XX:+CMSParallelRemarkEnabled -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=15 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=30 -XX:GCPauseIntervalMillis=150 -XX:+UseAdaptiveGCBoundary -XX:-UseGCOverheadLimit -XX:+UseBiasedLocking -XX:SurvivorRatio=8 -XX:TargetSurvivorRatio=90 -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=15 -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -XX:+UseFastAccessorMethods -XX:+UseCompressedOops -XX:+OptimizeStringConcat -XX:+AggressiveOpts -XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=2048m -XX:+UseCodeCacheFlushing -XX:SoftRefLRUPolicyMSPerMB=10000 -XX:ParallelGCThreads=10
You can change those first two numbers to allocate more ram but dont do anything to the rest of the code as it might crash the game.Let me know if this helped you out
