Well, here's what I got for a decent way to keep your good towers up in armageddon.
5 minutes to Armageddon. Start placing down level 1 archer towers in every open spot. Ask your team (politely!) if they can help, too. Now you have a ton of level 1 archer towers and a handful of really good level 4 towers. Armageddon is starting. The way this works is that when lightning strikes your towers, it's more likely to hit the archer towers instead of your good towers.
*NOTE* This does not prevent your good towers from being destroyed. You've been warned.
