Banned for ''account compromised''

Hey guys,

So i was this whole week not on cubecraft due my school (test week).
And few minutes ago, i've tryed to connect on CubeCraft but i'm banned for ''Your Minecraft account is compromised. Please reset your password.'' by @marcoslater.
What does this mean? (Does this mean that anyone has permissions of my minecraft account?)
Do i need to reset my minecraft account password?

What is comprimised account?
It might be That someone was trying to get in your account without any premissions (it's just a emergency to take care of your own account)
