i just made this for fun. Reinagining things can be fun, but maybe this will also inspire some of you management people to maybe incorporate one or two ideas.

I’ve never really liked assassins. I feel like i get ganged up and isn’t really easy for the newly joined. There’s also the wonderful shop camping. To be fair, the hunger doesnt help either. No PvP zones should not be enterable when in combat. On leaving, player is given weakness 10 and speed 3 for 8 seconds for a quick get away. That means no spawn camping.

Another problem is how much hunger gets consumed. 1.11 fixed this issue. :/ you know what we need.

The bounty system. There should be a way for players to pay other players to get a random kill for them.

Now for some reimagining- boss raids. Kill bosses to get slightly overpowered gear. A slime of size 10 spawns with resistance 5 and strength 2. Kill it to get 10 slowness arrows and 5 poison 2 arrows.

Another one cpuld be the Illusioner aka waste of potential. It’s a fairly unheard mob. Added in 1.12, it can only be summoned by /summon illusion_illager. It cannot spawn naturally and has no spawn egg. These things are hard to fight and will be amazing for a boss. They make clones of themselves and shoot. Do give some potion effect because many people fighting at one will easily kill them.


Aquatic Update! 18w08b just came out a few miniutes ago with actual fish. We need aquatic maps with these things swimming in schools (group of fish @Non english speakers). These maps would be 80% submerges with little land. I know how mcuh people in mc hate water, but fret no longer because 1.13 adds a new swimming animation which makes it quite a pleasant experience. Tridents with their various enchantments would be great for assassins.

Elder Guardian bosses should spawn every 1 hour. On death they’d drop turtle master potions. Giant Phantoms patroll the skies as another raid boss. Killing them would drop the elytra in assassins.

Maps should be optimized for elytra still. More elevations, larger maps. Remove the current assassins maps. They suck. Maybe desert can stay but trees is the most bland map ever. A mesa map with gold mines in wild west movies or a hollywood map come into mind as being perfect for assassins. And a sunked ship treasure cove thing.

One raid boss should also drop a totem of undying.


A huge problem with assassins that bugged me was soawn points. They really need to go. I dont like getting killed by the same guy that killed me five miniutes ago.
