Hey!

As you all know, the lobby was updated from a while. One of the changes was removing the launch pad; however, and after some time, I saw that the advantages of the launch pad outweigh its disadvantages. Therefore, I see we should consider adding the pad back.

You can reach the games' NPC faster and easier. Especially when all games (except duels) don't return you back in front of the NPC. Most of the time, this is annoying, and that's for - generally - everyone. Even people with fly find it faster.

And for the newly added side pads, we all know they're for decoration/fun. Removing or adding them doesn't matter in my opinion. Of course, the old pads had a large launching force, so obviously that should be modified because the distance of the spawn and the NPCs decreased (if I'm not wrong).

Some of the disagrees might argue that the compass is a valid solution. Others might say it is laggy; however, the pad is more fun and interactive, especially if you want to go to other places other than the NPCs. It is faster in the long run (think about that for a bit) and, generally, it isn't that laggy. Compasses are a solution for lag. Also, the pad should obviously be calibrated.

Hey! This has been discussed before in this thread. Have a look in there for some constructive opinions about this. Anyhow you've got my agree, this would be useful, but they should not shoot you away too far. The pressure plate needs to be calibrated well.

We tested this and it launched you over the NPCs because they are so close now. So we won't be doing this.
Also, the pad should obviously be calibrated.

The run to the NPCs is 4 seconds, not to mention that players will accidentally walk into it a lot. I really don't see why we'd need to develop these to save players 2 seconds.

Not to mention we have a play again feature as well as a feature where you are placed at the start of the PVP NPC after finishing a duel. I can't find a lot of circumstances where this is actually useful.

Not to mention we have a play again feature as well as a feature where you are placed at the start of the PVP NPC after finishing a duel. I can't find a lot of circumstances where this is actually useful.
Some people don't like running in a bad map while pressing "Play Again" and it seems to feel longer while running to it, so I think that adding it is not that of a big deal since even the smallest servers have it.

This is the most useless suggestion ever and the hive doesn't even have launch pads and the npc are more father away and your here complaining you can't move your keyboard/circle pad or touch buttons after you reach 10 blocks.

Like seriously you must be using a smart fridge.

The hive is not better than Cube, and we should not even compare these servers, even though, if I played Hive, I would suggest the same. And yes, if you speedrun games, or even can win games by urself, then you would know what I mean... Anyways, I respect your opinion and respect that you discussed your opinion :)

I totally agree with this thread, but I get what @Story said. Also, even if the jump was adjusted to be a suitable 'jump' (as @ImPatsman most players would spawn in the middle, walk forward... KABAM and grt launched away from where they want. I mean, they might just want to walk to the Tower parkour or anything, not go to the NPCs.
