Agree, even today I joined a party but I was stuck in the lobby for around 10m (they were in mega) I wish there was a "Spectate Game" button in the party menu so you know what's happening 🤷‍♂️

For those concerned about 4 team maps for BedWars Solo and Duos, I doubt they'll be going anywhere. Remember, those maps are designed for both Bedrock and especially Java. If 8 team maps were to arrive, they'll be Bedrock exclusive and can coexist with the 4 team maps without replacing them.
