Well, it looks very world edited and it's an unoriginal idea. I don't know what else to say but it doesn't appeal to me that much. Sorry.

The whole thing is basically two colors, maybe have different types of candy besides red and white...?

Candy is meant to be colourful and bright. You don't have a variation of colours. You need to figure out a colour palette and then use them to brighten it up.

Also please, please don't use that much obvious World Edit

In my opinion, candy is too much of a mainstream/over-used theme. Like, there's like too much candy on this server (never thought I would say that...)

Looks like it's been worldedited, and most servers have candy in one of their servers, and we've alraedy got a SkyWars candy map - try to be original.
