1.8 Knockback???

Im pretty sure the knockback in eggwars in 1.8 is a lot more than normal. My view on this is it needs to be changed to normal knockbak

I agree with I also don't like that most of the time if you're against someone who is a better pvper than u but has worse gear will usallly always win, that is what I hate about 1.8

I'm not lazy to go to 1.8, the reason is why I don't play it is because I'm terrible at 1.8 :(:(

There is a bit more knockback in 1.8 than in 1.9. I think it is throwing you off because in 1.9 you take nearly no knockback. 1.8 needs skill in different ways than 1.9 and in my opinion I prefer it

Knockback in 1.8 and 1.9 should be the same. Only difference is that you can't spam attacks and because of that 1.9 appears to have "less" knockback.

You dont always have to eat a gapple, there are actually a few ways to defeat a hacker
1. The Gapple
2. Using hacks yourself (not recommended unless its an anarchy server)
3. Ranged Attacks (including shooting people off the map if they dont have flight or AKB)
4. The Anti-cheat and
5. Forever Running ( you cant hide in certain gamemodes like eggwars)

Yeah 1.8 PvP Is basically spamming a fully Charged Attack Over and Over again, I think the reason why 1.9 PvP Doesn't have as much knockback, is because u need to charge your weapon more to do more knockback as well as damage

Yep could be a reason as people don't seem to realize knockback is effected by cool down as well.
