Bring back 1.8 fishing rods for 1.8 gamemodes, 1.9 fishing rods are useless in pvp. Might as well remove them otherwise..

Other than that, it's a bug. And it should be fixed IMO. And I'm not the only one thinking that. And I'm pretty sure it's harder to code an entire game, than fixing a fishing rod.

I dont know why they don't work anymore, but I think they will eventually come back as "real" rods. :)
I think they disabled rod hitting. Because on Hypixel, if you hit someone with a rod, he gets hit by it. Eventhough Hypixel is 1.8 and 1.9.
Fishing rods being useless is a 1.9 thing, since hypixel is 1.9 AND 1.8 they still work on there.
In 1.9, if you hit someone with a fishing rod, it pulls them to you. For some reason it's either bugged or disabled on Cube.
You guys no that this is hard to code right. its like 1.8 cannoning. And the server you guys keep bringing up that has 1.9 and 1.8 its running off of 1.8 thats why it works its much harder then it looks :) I think it would be better for them to work on new stuff then find out how to code something that might not be codeable (its a word now)

Just copy the code from 1.8..? Not using fishing rod is just not 1.8 pvp. Its promoted as 1.8 mode..
