A task that isn't required for the helper application, otherwise they would've added it.
It’s a must-have tho. Your posts need to have quality

Meh, look at tacosbefriends (YEET) jkjk I get it, but let's be honest everyone makes little mistakes on the forums. Think about grammar, wrong reading etc.
Everybody makes mistakes, that's why we're being called "humans" and not "cyborgs". Making some mistakes doesn't mean that your posts are trash.

Yeah everyone has started posting things like “Nice c:”
But you can always improve your posts quality

Yet most of them are acting like them. "Enjoy your day" "Please do not swear"

I haven't read most of the reply's here, so I'm just going to give my quick opinion.

There are two kinds of wannabes, those who really want to help the server and don't have the idea of being a helper powering every thought, and those who do the basic replies to every thread like:

Thread: I was banned.

Reply: Appeal here, if it's denied contact the staff that banned you"

and don't bother looking at the whole thread for any info on that.

Then, there's the one's that go and look for possible names in appeals, tell them who banned them, and actually try to help, and will criticize cubecrafts mistakes.

My biggest problem with the so called ‘Helper wannabes’ are the people who are superficially nice and helpful, are only kind and helpful when they know staff are around, or those who are obsessed with staff.

I’ll start with the last one. I have seen people completely ruin their online friendships just because as soon as a staff member comes along, they drop everything and start to follow them around and start ignoring their actual friends. I had one friend group who had another friend who did this. He was the party leader and would keep dragging them around to follow staff members and joining the games the staff did, only to leave once staff did and bring them along with. It was annoying for both my friends, and the staff (because we do enjoy playing games without getting stalked and targeted :p).

The other two somewhat go together. I’m pretty much always in vanish, and I’ve seen some people be kind of rude and toxic, and as soon as I something in chat, they immediately change tone and start trying to help others and being nice.

I guess what I’m trying to say is people just need to be themselves.

That’s my small rant for that. Now for some of the thread stuff.

I don’t think the application requirements are necessarily that important. From what I have seen, 1000 messages seems to be the average when people become Helper. I think the requirements are mainly there to say ‘you can’t just join the forums and apply while being completely new to everything.’ I wouldn’t be opposed to changing the requirements to something more ambiguous, like ‘Being an active member with a great understanding of the rules.’ Someone mentioned that we could just train applicants on how to recognize rule breakers and then not rely on reports as much. The problem with that is many people can’t tell the difference between a cheater and a skilled player. You have seen how many people call ‘hax!’ for every small thing. I believe a potential staff member already needs a great sense of when someone is cheating and when someone is just really good (the other rules can be taught, but telling cheats from skill is something you gain from learning and fighting, not by watching videos). We can then test your knowledge with videos, but I would not trust someone to handle cheating reports or banning cheaters in game if they did not already know the difference before staff.

The community and the server are the same in this context. I mean you don't help out a SkyWars map by reporting someone.
I don't think you understood me. When you report someone, you definitely do not help them. Though, you do help the server because you're trying to keep the chat fun and safe.
Ofcourse not because superhero's are created by television to amuse you, this however is a real thing.

I believe god doesn't exist so I would let the guy swear because the only church I've ever been in are in Paris, got there with school last week. (Notre-Dame).
Please do not take everything so serious, I was just giving some examples.
Ofcourse, couldn't agree more. But let me compare one thing outta real life now. if someone swears with a horrible disease, would rather say: "Could you please stop that?" or, "Please stop swearing 1/2"?
1 warning is enough to get someone muted for swearing, ''Could you please stop'' will be enough.
I do not respect players who are acting like robots. I'll shut my mouth really, wouldn't insult them only make fun out of them whenever I can. But I do not respect those people.
That's fine as long you're not being rude to them.
A task that isn't required for the helper application, otherwise they would've added it.
I think it's safe to say they're not accepting anyone who only posts ''Yes'' on every suggestion.

For those two, I forgot to mention one detail I should've mentioned earlier. If you report someone for saying "shit" for example, you can report this person directly, he gets a warning which is visible for 30 days evertime they join the server. "Got reported for saying this word myself in the context "Fortnite sucks, this is the real sheit". Then you're a helperwannabe, it doesn't offend anyone so let it go already".

So instead of looking like someone who tries too hard you could easily report this person already, problem solved.

Please do not take everything so serious, I was just giving some examples.
Serious topics requires serious answers. Giving examples which do not fit in here are supposed to be taken seriously as well.
