I made a thread a very long time ago, right after Cubecraft removed the Speed II effect from Speed Eggwars.
And now, I'm bringing it back because it's still relevant.
(I'm mostly gonna copy and paste stuff)

Instead of re-adding the Speed II effect, or removing the Speed II effect, like right now.
I'm suggesting we add it in a voting system. Now people can vote what they like. (You'll need Gold+ to vote.)

Normal - Speed 1 - Speed 2
*Speed 2*

Selected Overpowered items! It was voted for the most!
Selected Normal Health! It was voted for the most!
Selected Speed 2 Effect! It was voted for the most!

In my opinion there is no disadvantages at all. You don't want speed? Good! You still have a chance of not getting speed. You do want it? Great! Get that speed!
Yes, of course you have the possibility that you have to play a game without, even if you want speed. Or it's the other way around. But then you can leave, or deal with it.
It's also the same with item types and health boost.
