Butterfly Clicking on BedrockButterfly Clicking is one of the most common and legitimate clicking styles used by both casual and professional players.
For players with basic or low-end mice, Butterfly Clicking usually reaches around 9ā13 CPS, which is completely normal.
For players with high-end mice such as Bloody, Glorious, or Razer, the same technique can naturally reach 16ā22 CPS due to faster switches and lower debounce times.
This difference often leads to false accusations. Some legitimate Butterfly players are banned just because their CPS looks high, even though itās fully achievable by hand without using any software, macros, or auto-clickers.
Itās important to understand that Butterfly CPS varies depending on the mouse hardware, and CPS alone is not reliable proof of cheating.
Server Rules and the CPS LimitAlthough the server officially bans Drag and Double Clicking, and the rules require players to stay at 15 CPS or below, many legitimate players are still facing issues.
Some players are banned unfairly while building blocks, even though their CPS is low ā around 13ā15 or less. Their gameplay might look āsuspiciousā to others simply because they click fast and place blocks efficiently.
This problem started because many players became used to high-CPS gameplay from Drag Clicking before the new rules were introduced. Now, when they see someone performing well with Butterfly Clicking, they assume that player is cheating.
As a result, legitimate players who Butterfly Click and build quickly are often reported and banned for āunusual block placement,ā even though theyāre playing normally and within the legal CPS range.
Butterfly Clicking is, in fact, an excellent and fair playstyle for both regular and professional players ā offering smooth PvP control and stable block placement without any illegal methods.
Mouse Software and MS SettingsMouse performance is also affected by MS (debounce time) ā the delay between clicks.
Some gaming mice have software that allows players to reduce debounce time (to 2 ms or even 1 ms), which helps reach smoother CPS rates legally.
Others use cheap mice that canāt change their debounce settings and stay stuck at around 50 ms, which makes their CPS slower.
When players appeal bans, theyāre often asked about their MS, even though the rules donāt specify any required value. This creates unfair differences between players with advanced gaming mice and those with basic hardware.
Console Players (PS4 / PS5)Players on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 who use a mouse and keyboard face additional difficulties.
Most of them own high-end mice like Bloody, Glorious, or Razer, which can easily reach 16ā22 CPS using Butterfly Clicking.
However, console players donāt have access to clients like Onix or in-game CPS meters, meaning they canāt check or control their CPS while playing.
Because of this, many are banned automatically without even realizing they exceeded the CPS limit.
These players arenāt cheating intentionally ā they simply lack the tools that PC players have to monitor their clicks.
False Bans and Community ImpactMany legitimate players, especially those using Butterfly Clicking, are being unfairly punished even though they fully follow the server rules.
According to CubeCraft regulations, players must keep their CPS at 15 or below, and Drag Clicking or Double Clicking is strictly prohibited.
However, several players who play legally within these limits ā maintaining 13ā15 CPS through Butterfly Clicking ā are still banned because their gameplay appears āsuspicious.ā
CPS alone should never be the main reason for a ban.
Players should be carefully verified before any punishment, as Butterfly Clicking at 13ā15 CPS is completely legal and achievable by hand without using any macros or external programs.
Professional players who use Butterfly Clicking may sometimes appear suspicious due to block placement speed or lag/ping issues.
At times, it may look like the player is building extremely fast or unusually, even though they are playing at a consistent CPS within the legal range (13ā15 CPS).
Lag can also cause slight delays, which may make the playerās actions seem irregular or ācheating,ā even when they are not.
