hey everyone.
Drag clicking has become way to common, and its making games feel unfair. casual players stand no chance against it, and when every fight feels impossible for casual players they lose interest quickly and stop playing. cubecraft is meant to be fun for everyone not just us "sweats" we have to think about the casual players too. Even experienced players struggle against players drag clicking you cant hit them into the void etc, if the best PvP players on the server have trouble eliminating drag clickers how are casual players supposed to compete? It creates a gap that makes the server less enjoyable for the majority of the community.
Another problem is determining whether a player is auto clicking or drag clicking, and majority are auto clicking because they know they can get away with it as it can be mistaken for "drag". its often difficult to tell if someone is using allowed "modifications" or using banable software. This makes moderation difficult to determine between drag and auto clickers.
The removal of drag clicking would allow casual players to compete and also help moderation determine who is cheating and who is not.
However I think we should keep DOUBLE CLICKING as this is not other modifications to your mouse externally, this is in all gaming mice and should be ALLOWED.
Keeping double clicking meets everyone halfway it makes moderation 10x easier to determine who is cheating and who is not, makes casual players stand more chance as its much easier playing against a double clicker compared to a drag clicker/auto clicker. and it also allows sweats to compete against each other.
Take this into a POV: New player on a mobile device logging onto Minecraft, deciding what server to play, deciding to play cubecraft as egg wars looks cool to play, loads into a doubles game, gets selected as green team on cyber city, buys armour etc, turns around out of the shop egg gets broken starts hitting the player, hits the player off player places 10 blocks in one frame and clutches happens again and then gets combod off eliminated.
*hope you liked my POV*
however they stand 0 chance and I think drag clicking should be NOT ALLOWED but double clicking ALLOWED it meets everyone halfway and makes the games more enjoyable for everyone.
Minecraft PvP should reward strategy, timing, and skill not just who can master the fastest clicking method or using modifications (auto). By removing drag clicking but allowing double clicking, Cubecraft would be supporting fair play while keeping the games accessible for both competitive and casual players.
