Hello everyone, welcome back to another edition of Community Highlights! For anyone who is new here, in this series I compile lots of information about amazing updates, community content and user activity over the latest month into just one thread. You can find the previous edition here. Let's get into the community highlights for February 2024!
General Changes
February 6th:
- The Lunar New Year seasonal event began. It included:
- Limited-time maps
- A limited-time Bedrock bundle
- Read more in the official announcement here!
- The new Lethal Entities bundle was released.
- The Java map rotation update was released. It includes:
- 3 brand new maps.
- Other map rotations.
- Read more in the official announcement here!
- @iikovu is no longer a moderator.
- @AnolTongi is now a Helper.
- @Thjis is now a Helper.
- An update to EggWars has been released. It includes:
- 12 new perks.
- Perk shuffling.
- Perk voting.

- @Hoshi is no longer a moderator.
- A new game called Pillars of Fortune has been released on Bedrock.
- The base version of the server has been updated to 1.20.4.
Community Spotlight
CubeCraft GeoGuesser
- This fun and unique minigame was started by @JustNathie and deserves a place in the spotlight for this month! The minigame ran for 7 days and is over now, but you can still look back through the threads and challenge yourself to find all of the locations!
- This suggestion by @Alexp192 focuses on adding a new pickaxe to the shop in order to make ancient debris easier to break through without having to collect diamonds.
- Have you tried any of @caraMel's weekly challenges yet? The thread linked above is the most recent one, you still have a few days to complete that challenge if you're interested!
- This simple suggestion by @ToonBer requests the ability to ride Kuzco, the lobby llama. Who could say no to that?
- After a few months of silence, there was finally another partnered event announced on the forums! Be sure to check out CubeHQ so you can join in with future events.
- Private games have been available for staff and partners for some time now. @xFqbian suggests that it be made available for players with a certain VIP level so that the wider community can enjoy private games as well.
- Now that Minecraft has an official server list, @Dualninja suggests that we should be able to get rewards by voting for CubeCraft on this listing!
- In this suggestion, @SlinkyGnu05604 would like a solution for some things that they and many others miss about EggWars. Do you think a new voting option is a good idea? The thread is still open for your thoughts!
