I have been playing eggwars for years. I don't like how they changed the shop items and prices of everything and generator speeds. I miss voting op and getting 4 iron for leather, 1 iron for pick, 5 iron for wood sword, and just 21 for starter bocks and rushing mid right at the start. It costs a lot more for things now and the generators are slow. Now I need to wait till late game for obsidian and all the picks are slow unless you enchant them from mid. My suggestion is to bring back the shops to how they were, bring back the emerald generators, bring back pre enchanted items. But leave in the game the new items and adjust prices so they are balanced, and leave the enchanting table in the game to further enchant items.

I completely agree with you but the new emerald system is the only good thing that should stay, it actually gives emeralds a use and makes the old items that used to cost emeralds actually obtainable. Things like blastballs could make the game much more interesting.

I don't really agree with this. Yes, the old eggwars was good, but i believe change should also be made. People got used to the usual "take out the first team before they get obsidian defense" or "get less than 1 min games" which is not what eggwars was made for and this update brought use to other items that are actually in the shop. Also remember that this is just a season of eggwars, there will still be changes and it has a chance of being removed in the future.

That is only because most people only play by the classic rush base mine egg fight tactic,when I play defensively the game is actually balanced and I can defend the egg pretty well.Late game attacks are also fun as you can use a lot more tactics(tnt spam,sneak in,etc and with everyone else in dia armor it becomes more challenging and the stakes are higher).Now the game has became a giant stalling competition where both teams just get stuck in their positions like I am watching a WWI movie and 0 deaths occur.Any attempt to get into their base will just be greeted with 5 hits and right back to the loading screen.

That is only because most people only play by the classic rush base mine egg fight tactic,when I play defensively the game is actually balanced and I can defend the egg pretty well.Late game attacks are also fun as you can use a lot more tactics(tnt spam,sneak in,etc and with everyone else in dia armor it becomes more challenging and the stakes are higher).Now the game has became a giant stalling competition where both teams just get stuck in their positions like I am watching a WWI movie and 0 deaths occur.Any attempt to get into their base will just be greeted with 5 hits and right back to the loading screen.
this update should be more your style then. if anything, these changes were made for players like you, who spend their time getting resources for a late game attack.

Did you even read what you just responded to? They just stated that succesful late game attacks are no longer possible with the new combat. This update has entirely ruined eggwars for nearly all types of players and has resulted in it becaoming both generic and boring

Did you even read what you just responded to? They just stated that succesful late game attacks are no longer possible with the new combat. This update has entirely ruined eggwars for nearly all types of players and has resulted in it becaoming both generic and boring

That doesnt work when dia armor is so similar to netherite armor yet you can pump out full dia players one after one and netherite you cant.Also basically every special tactic is destroyed,the tnt physics is changed and cannons are non functional,bows does 0 damage,crossbows have a delay when using.The update is for noobs who save up full diamond armor then complain about dying cause they got 3 shot into the void. Do you even realize that punch bows are ruined as well,no one except noobs like this

It also only caters to another player type:underground campers,without redstone and cheap tnt they can literally camp indefinitely if the others teams egg is broken as they cant drop down to place blocks and get to them

Ok, hear me out here... matchmaking based on skill. Instead of matchmaking based on what map you want (VIP) or simply random, just make lobbies skill-based. Lobbies 1 and 2 can have a separate game/map queue for lower leveled players, then it just scales up from there. If a lobby is too underpopulated, just close it and put those players in the next best lobby based on their Cubecraft Level. It might be a little bit complicated to code and create something like this, but I can't imagine it being any more difficult than what they've added for season 2.
Also, it's worth noting that players should still be able to change lobbies because their cubecraft level may not reflect their eggwars skill. If for example, a primarily minerware player is level 100, they would be placed into the highest lobby but they might not even know how to play eggwars.

Lobbies 1 and 2 can have a separate game/map queue for lower leveled players, then it just scales up from there. I respectively disagree. Now that getting netherite has replaced enchanted diamond gear in overpowered mode (and gear in no longer enchanted, period) it actually makes it harder for people who liked to old playing style. In leather gear alone, you could tank a few hits and fall damage. This was helpful in cases of a raid where you could actually defend yourself AND a player in full diamond gear could actually take knockback. Not only does netherite negate knockback, the netherite sword can destroy anyone is iron gear because it isn't enchanted with protection V.

My favorite part about overpowered mode was the ability to use strategy to fight against the odds. A smart player could take down a guy much more powerful than them. Now it's about holding the player's hand and makes it even WORSE for newer players because they don't stand a chance against someone who is experienced with pvp and can't take knockback.
