In oak forest, there isn't a great way to get money. It would be probably pumpkin farming, although its slow. I'd advise you to try and complete all the main tasks as soon as possible to move on to a new island, as there are better ways of getting quick money!
big cactus farm would indeed be a good one, but you can also make a good zombie farm (by either making them drop from a big height or making them drown)
I suggest you make a zombie farm at max height. They will fall and die, so it's an auto farm. Cactus farm would be good too.
In my experience making a farm for cocoa beans also works really well as an early game money farm
