All Networks Community Map Week

Hey everyone!

The idea...
The nostalgia week was a great success... (That's my opinion)
So maybe there should come a poll, like the featured games. But then for the nostalgic maps, so they will return once a week...

I think this would be a really good idea, because the maps aren't permanent and people could just play on some fresh, new maps one time in the year for one week. :)

Another idea is that at that week, people can vote which map was their favorite map and that map will stay for another week.

Yeah, a vote like featured games, heck maybe if one is a huge success it can come back permanently or with edits. :O

Oof yes, I really love those maps to play, I always played those maps in the past like in 2015 and 2016, so that would be awesome it will be come back again. :)

I really don't understand this. There is already a system for community maps to be added to the server and those are permanent so what does community maps mean? If you are talking about adding all of the community maps then it wouldn't do well as some maps are just garbage and were denied for good reason. Are these the really old community maps or something?

overall it might be cool to get some old maps back for a longer time such as biomes it was really fun with the two rings and the huge middle with loads of gold

He worded it poorly, what he meant was: He is talking about maps from the nostalgic update and other classic maps. He wants a system, similar to feature game system, but with nostalgic maps instead.

Well, there are a lot of maps which aren't accepted and needs a little bit more details or other builds.
The fixed/improved maps which aren't accepted should come for a week so people can vote their best map. And that map will maybe return forever, or just for a week. Because it's only once a year this could be a cool idea.

Oh... So you weren't talking about nostalgia maps? Cause if not then it's a no from me, most maps are denied because they are awful. The ones that have a chance of redemption are left unlocked but get criticism. I only agree with nostalgic maps coming back in a voting system, not denied community maps.

I personally hate the nostalgia week, it gets me off playing CubeCraft. The maps were just terrible for pvp, and actually really hard to play on. I haven't played other gamemodes at that time (expect some Eggwars), so don't see this in global, it's just for Skywars.

That´s where there should be a poll for the nostalgic maps you like.

Okay, let me explain this. The Nostalgia Week was so great because Cube brought back old maps you couldn't play for a while. However, I think there most certainly were reasons for them to be removed, such as the long waiting times or, like finixly said, too few space to actually PvP on the maps. This is a con, but another reason why I don't think it'd be a good idea to implement this suggestion is that if you'd bring a system like that to the server the maps wouldn't be nostalgic anymore, but just normal maps that get cycled every now and then. And don't forget the fact that there'll be maps that get featured over and over again, like some games in the current featuring system.
Guess this is a poor explaination from me but I vote no, sorry.

Maybe the maps could use some changes then. If the designers want to do that :)

So the suggestion is to add a similar option of the Featured Games to the Nostalgic Week? I'm not sure about that, I mean I know some of players would like that because that means the old and classic Cube maps will return for a week, but the longer playing players will know that those maps weren't the best to PvP on or to play in general. I am kinda leaning to a no for me as I love the current maps and don't really want to play on those old maps.
