Yes, I get that the Punch Bow is a thing. And yes, I get that the Punch Bow is OP. But I want something more!
My suggestion:
The Knockback Sword!
The Knockback Sword is a Golden Sword with Knockback I. Maybe with 3/4 durability. It would cost 6-8 diamonds. Not usre on the price just yet:)

Increase the price and make it less OP if you wish. Remember that it is melee and NOT ranged, so campers can't use it as easily as the Punch Bow.

There would be people who fill their inventory with those swords, to make pvp impossible. No thank you, I like eggwars like it is now. Sorry, but I do not agree.

Genius idea just popped into my head.
Increase the price to 12 diamonds and give the swords 1/4 durability.
You'll only have 7-8 uses per sword.

No need. Knockback 1 isn’t OP at all, we could go for an gold one with full durabikty for the same price.
