i think since i see this on oyher severs we should do a staff signup sheet and once like 100 people go into it we can pick one to get in mod or something like that

This is a stupid idea, no good server has a lottery system to select staff, like a lucky dip. It can take weeks to find a good staff member, someone who is responsible, dedicated, liked by many of the staff and is an active member ingame and forums. Not a random person on a page.

Yes but like what @Efcluke94 said it takes weeks to find good staff members, who are responsible and so on.

It's not a good system & we would never be able to find a half decent staff member if we did it that way. Staff are hand-picked for a reason, we don't have applications like many of the other servers out there for the reason that we want someone that is easy to work with, can cooperate with other players, has a generally good atmosphere & has dedication & is frequently active both on forums & on the server. That's not something you can find in an application or a random draw for a staff position.
