Warning them once in game is something that needs to happen. I am unsure if this rule will change in the near future.

i think that they should be warned in the game at the start as well but also then the bans for teaming should go like this

caught teaming once:1 week ban
twice:1month ban
thrice:permanent

But why does it need to happen?
Anyone with a brain can tell the difference between solo and team. And everyone that plays on cube, believe it or not actually has a brain.
You don't need to warn people that are hacking, and really there's no difference between the two. They're both methods used to give an unfair advantage.
