Hello people of the internet,
After all the feedback here , I came with a decent idea, which will prevent people from camping in the middle (this is tl;dr, I have a very long text in a notepad):

  • A villager in the middle will appear, will sell the stuff cheaper. (10%-20% cheaper than the islands), will the the original stuff
  • The islands' villagers will sell everything at double price, the bows (and arrows), the TNT and the obsidian will removed. Carrots, leather armour, wood sword and sandstone will stay at the same price.
  • This will happen after 40 minutes of game.
  • Before the "villagers edit" three warnings will be played (10, 5 and 1 minute before. Music will sound and a title in the screen will appear, also in the chat a message will be played)
  • Votable option for Obsidian (default [no one votes] is no to Camping Prevention) @Ping Ether 's idea

My answers to each of your suggestions

1. This has been denied many a time

2. That would be way to op for hardcore mode thats basically 2 stacks of iron for a wooden sword and 4 stacks for 1 piece of leather armor which if its triple health can make it into the Guiness book of world records

3. Most games dont take that long

5. Then if you die even with your egg what happens? Also if you have your egg noone can get to it

I also dont approve of changing camping and i dont think staff want to change it either it even kills my strat of the one man army where i give anyone coming to the base a hard time while the rest of my team goes and gets the eggs, ( i call it the sentry strat) plus discouraging camping at the base will only encourage camping your bridge at the mid end, so your exchanging one problem for a bigger one a nd besides its no fun swooping in for dat booty if its not a challenge which camping gives which i find very fun -1

Such as i said above if the barrier comes in and you still have an egg

1. Where do you respawn when you die
2. Theres no way of getting the egg which actually promotes camping because its all about defending the egg enough to let the barrier pass

Why?

I agree with Spyro, as annoying as camping is, sometimes it makes the game easier. There are already strategies to beat camping. Building sky brides at build height usually works well, and when you can't do that, just build a safety bridge.

I like the idea! You've worked it out very well. Just 1 thing: That it will happen 30 minutes after the game, because when I'm 40 minutes in a game and a team/player STILL camps, I'll probably just leave...

BUT... It's a very good suggestion! +1

Yes, it is OP on hardcore but what if you make it ilike 64 iron for a wooden sword on your own island, and 32 iron at the villager on the middle.

Most games dont take that long
Actually, they do, on maps like UDS.

I actually don't like this at all. I really love eggwars and this will ruin my love for it. I actually love the longer games. They are so intense! So, 40 minutes in game is not long at all! Also, I don't see that many campers in eggwars, so this would mean that my favorite part of the game would be destroyed to solve a problem that I almost don't have...

  • No! Mid is WAY too overpowered with a villager. Imagine someone camping there without an egg.

  • NO. What if someone is trying to get to mid because someone is camping and dies? The camper gets too big of an advantage.

  • Most camping starts 15-25 minutes in.

  • As I don't like the villagers being edited, this speaks for itself.
