I spent a long time working on a survival solo world.
I logged in Minecraft and didn't realize I was playing a snapshot. When I loaded in, I lost my achievements. I looked around, and there were chunks randomly generating. The world was corrupted. It says, chunk error, should be at (z) (y) (x), relocating chunks in the log.
Is there any way to recover my work? Or can I bring back Windows to yesterday's state? If you know how to help me, please. I really really need help.

Update: I decided to bring Windows back to yesterday. I will lose a lot of work... But better than working on a corrupted world. Thanks everyone.

Some the heck how, restoring to 28 didn't restore documents but only the system files LOL
Welp I'll keep trying... I mean, chunks are there, they're just missplaced... I'm sure there's a way of (correctly) relocating them

That happened to me with my first world ever. It just randomly corrupted though. I hope you get your world back and make sure to always save your worlds in the future!

Mojang always recommend that you backup your worlds before using them on a snapshot. A snapshot is a unstable version, corruption is extremely likely to happen. If you have file history to backup your minecraft folder, then it should of been backed up.

I know I shouldn't open old worlds in snapshots, but the thing is I launched MC not even noticing I was using it... Bruh I'm stupid, I know.

I'll see what I can do
