Teaming ban

So, I just recently reported 3 people for teaming, they got salty in my comments. Nothing special to me, altough one guy "only got banned for an hour". That's what he said, he was sleeping while he was banned. So here's how to fix this, when somone gets banned, he doesn't get banned right away, he automaticly gets banned the first time he logges on, automaticly, unless he's already online.

On the survival server I used to be staff on, we muted spammers, rude people and advertisers for only 1 hour... The punishment continued when they were offline so they just logged off and played somewhere else while they were muted... Same case with jailing, but Cubecraft doesn't have that xD

What he said is not completely true though , he probably tried to frustrate you by saying that he just took a nap and came back, because if he would sleep for that long I'd suppose he's in a coma.

But I like the idea of making bans go in effect from the moment that someone tries to login to the server , not sure if it's possible though but I would support it :)

He could've just logged off and not played in the morning ;)

This must be added because with the current form sure there are players who don't even realize that they have been punished because when joining the next time the punishment has expired.

it is possible with plugins theoretically. I dont know how plugins save bans but maybe save the bans and the length in a txt file that can be edited from staff over the server. Every time a player joins the server it will be checked if he is in that file. If he is in that file the plugin checks next to his name for how long the punishment is and if no length is set it is a permaban. It would not be easy to code but from my sight possible.
