About Teams an Solo SkyWars

Spoiler said it all. Please don't reply like: Teaming in Solo SkyWars is allowed/bannable

So lately I have seen SOME Staff Memebers and heard some people saying Teaming in Solo SkyWars will be bannable with the release of the new ban system.
If these rumors are true, then I'd like to ask: Why is teaming going to be bannable?!

So Teaming in Solo SkyWars has been allowed for so long, I see no reason for it to be removed.
I know every single one of you guys teamed atleast once.
Sure I hate it aswell to face teams but I should not be blaming them since I do this aswell!

And before you are like: But this is where Team Modes are for
Teaming in Survival Games and EggWars is completely different.

Why should teaming in EggWars and Survival Games be bannable but not SkyWars?
Well... first all those things above.
But killing a team is way different in each gamemode!
In Survival Games you have to PVP against 2 people. Since you can barely kill them without OP Gear or Lava you just can't win from them making the game impossible.
In EggWars it's different aswell. In order to kill a team you can of course shoot them off. But to eliminate them you have to destroy 2 Eggs! And with 2 players you are forced to stay on your island because if you don't atleast 1 player is guaranteed to break your Egg. Also when 2 people attack you can only defend making it impossible to defend your Egg.

Now in SkyWars killing a team is a lot more easy. Since the island are mainly small knocking a team off is really easy.
Or you can focus one just so the guy has no team anymore.

Cubecraft is also one of the few big servers allowing Teaming in Solo SkyWars.

All I'd like to say: Please don't make Teaming in Solo SkyWars a punishable offence.

I hope everyone agrees but that will obviously will not happen. Just let me know if you DON'T support Teams in Solo SkyWars and WHY with a good reason.

I totaly know what you mean @TheJeroen ! Teaming on solo skywars maken Cubecraft Games special ! I hope they know what we mean and SOLO SKYWARS SHOULD STAY NOT OFENSIVE!! Cubecraft don't take this away from us:(

I would say Solo skywars is ok, sometimes it is annoying of how they double-team you, but I am not against it.

I understand what you mean, although teaming gives you an unfair advantage against those who aren't prepared. It is easy for a team of 2 to work together building to other islands with one covering the other who is building.

You did bring up the point that it is an easier game to play and that defeating a team is pretty easy, although there are quite a few players such as myself who aren't particularly skilled at combat therefore making it a lot more difficult even getting used to the speed of SkyWars.

The reason of 'other servers do it' is an excuse which can't be made as we aren't that server. We are CubeCraft therefore we don't need to do what other servers do but we can introduce the idea that it is what users like.

My final point to bring up is the fact that if teaming will allowed in Solo SkyWars, whats the point in having teamed SkyWars? CubeCraft is better off including some sort of team selection in Solo SkyWars where you can team with a user instead of having a completely different gamemode which just splits the whole SkyWars community up.

Teaming has been allowed for a very long time now. Making teaming in solo Skywars a punishable offense would be a big gamechanger and would get a lot of hate.

However, I think that teaming in Solo gamemode is unfair towards other players. Especially when there is a team mode.
Now, you might say "But, but, but... I'm not good in PvP and I'm just teaming so I have a chance to win.". There are a lot of players who are not that good in 1.8 or 1.9 PvP and do not team.

People who want to team, should go to team mode. It's there for a reason. I have to commit that I team in Solo mode, but when the rule gets implemented, I would stop immediately without discussion.

I don't know which staff member said that, but there's just so much controversy about this subject. There are alot of threads made by people who want teaming to be punishable: It's called SOLO Skywars for a reason, It's not fair etc. etc. etc.

It is bannable now, yeah. But we don't immediately punish, we give people a chance to still stop. So when reporting, the players in question need to be warned to be aware of the fact that teaming in Solo gamemodes is not allowed (anymore).

Totally agree with this. CC would lose a lot of members if teaming in solo sw would be punishable, I play it a lot with my friends. I probably will play it a lot less, because I don't like team sw. I don't like the maps and if you're in a team with nubs, you have to kill all other teams by your own.

And there are also a ton of players who say the exact opposite. It's kind of frustrating.

No it's not anymore, teaming is a 1 day ban. This punishment will not increase.

No it's not anymore, teaming is a 1 day ban. This punishment will not increase.

Might want to speak to Mooofin then. Last time he told me that staff are unable to punish for less than 1 month.

I gues Yes:( only teaming on FFA and asasionation are allowed

I like make team in SkyWars, and I like find teams in SkyWars because I learn more about PvP being 1 vs 2/3. I think that it was better before, when team was allowed in solo. I dont like Team SkyWars maps, the only I like is Candy. I think that fewer people will play in CC, because more people play because of Teaming in Solo Skywars. This is my opinion. By the way I'm agree with @TheJeroen
