What I'm suggesting is that every 10-20 minutes a random effect is put out on every island. This effect can be either good or bad, it could harming, poison, wither, fire type effect, regen, short insta health, leaping, speed or fire resistance. Before the potion effect happens everyone gets a 4 minute warning. The effects are shown as lingering potion that covers the island.Does not affect mid.

Is mid safe?

If it is not, -1
If it is, +0.5

I think that an occasional positive effect should come up every 5 minutes up to minute 20.

Then, random negative effects should start occurring, as an encouragement for campers to evacuate to mid.

It's an okay idea, but I'm not sure how well this fits eggwars.

I think this is a good idea, this should be added to some of the minigames, but how long would the effects last.

Eh, personally I like eggwars fine the way it is. I could see why others may like it, but I just simply don't. It is too much for eggwars in my opinion..
