Are there seprate IP's for US and EU or is this 1 giant server?

Hey, the title pretty much sums it up, is cube craft 1 giant server or is there an EU and US side to it? If there is a separate EU and US server how do I connect to one over the other or does it automatically send you to the one you are closest to?

Anyways: Before they going to get a US server. They need to fix bugs and patching some updates. ~I'm also not quite sure or they going to do this~
