Okaaay, so, let me judge this for a second or two.

Firstable, you need more terraforming UNDER the island. The bottom shouldn't be all the times flat.

Secondable, make more space between the islands. 8 - 14 is enough.

Wrong, its not easy with worldedit, its a lot easier doing it manually, its hard to select the coordinates and have it set out perfectly.

If you don't have those commands, download the World Edit mod and do it in singleplayer, you should have all the commands that way, via CubeCraftGames you have to donate to get the better ones.
