Cosmetic Idea

Recently I've been floating around on servers just playing with friends and enjoying my self when something I've never seen before hit my mind when I had saw an angel statue... Why hasn't anyone created a type of cosmetic that's like a trail but is wings? I'm not sure if this is entirely possible...But if it is, it seems simple enough basically give that trail to your back in a wing formation and have different colors and shapes using the particles minecraft has... Personally I think this would be extremely cool and would bring another awesome cosmetic for people to attempt to get.

Hm...Good point maybe I should go back to being special and slamming my face on my keyboard to play minecraft. Lol, On a different note I think horns would be sick too! But I don't think those would work to well because you wouldn't really be make anything more than like twigs coming out the head?

I think this might be possible using invisible armor stands. One guy made a driveable car using them. The only problem is, it might be too laggy. This is what it looks like, I think wings could be made too!

I believe I know the server you're talking about and I can answer your question fairly simply.

Count the number of feathers you see that comprise those wings. Divide that number by two. That's the number of entities it takes in order to make those wings. Now consider that these entities would have to spawn, despawn, track a player, and so on, every single time that someone uses this vanity item. That's a huge load on the server when you consider how many people we would have using that item. A while ago,we had pets as vanity items, and they were removed for causing lag. Each pet was only one entity. Entities=#Cubelag, #Cubelag=:(

Ah... That's unfortunate. It was an idea none the less :)...

I have seen a few really cool particle effects on a few other servers. I saw one that was sort of like flames surrounding the person. Great suggestion!
