New Range for people who report hackers.

Hola, en vista que todos los dias me encuentro hackers en diferentes modos de juego en el servidor, decidi empezar a reportar, abri un canal para subir los videos y hasta el dia de hoy llevo mas de 270 reportes y me surgio la idea de crear un rango solo para gente que reporta hackers, para solicitar el rango, el usuario deberia de tener al menos 500 reportes con 500 personas baneadas, nose que les parece la idea (Nota: Nose donde poner este tema asi que lo pongo aqui si no es problema).

I see where you where going with this. Your idea was to reward people who report users and keep the server clean from people with bad intentions but I think a better idea to reward people for reporting is to maybe give them an in-game cosmetic, or maybe a small amount of BuyCraft credit?
I know this idea needs more elaboration, but I think it's a start.

The rank would be called: 'snitcher' :D. I think this is a nice idea, it'll make people report more often. But I also think people will start making more false reports. Just to get that rank. Definately no ingame rank. But a rank here would be cool I guess.

I doubt someone dedicated enough to report 500+ hackers with no previous rewards would immediately stop once getting their reward.

If that did happen then maybe the rank should be tweaked so that you lose it if you stop reporting people for a long period of time

We've had previous suggestions about other ranks than staff ranks on forums and they were denied due to the confusion they'd cause. Ranks on forums are for staff only so members see within seconds that that is someone they can talk to about issues.

We didn't add in game ranks to forums (iron, lapiz etc.) due to that confusion and also because it would be so hard to manage.
1. To give every single player their rank on forums when they join it. If we don't do it within 10 seconds they freak out and yell at us.
2. To change their rank on forums as soon as they upgrade them.
3. We'd have to check purchasing e-mails and forums e-mails to make sure it is the player they are claiming to be.
Etc.

For basically the same reasons that reporting rank isn't a good idea.
1. It'd be hard to keep up with what those reporting members are actually doing. It'd be another thing we would have to manage as you need to deserve your rank a reporting rank would have to be removed as soon as you do not report.
2. What are a lot of reports? When do members deserve them?

Reporting is a really awesome thing and we are reaaallllyy thankful that the community is helping us so much. Due to reports we can ban so many hackers and keep the server more clean.

In conclusion it's a no for now. Thank you for reporting so much but due to the reasons named above it should not be added.
I'll never say never but I doubt that it will happen.
