Hi, I am telegamer or Owen, and I recently played a game of team skywars that lasted for 1hour+, this is when I realised that Cubecraft doesn't even has an AFK timer/kicker, I siggested that in another post, but then again when I reportedthe player he did not got banned, which upsets me, so I think the punishments on being AFK should be stepped up:
First time AFK camping with vid proof: 24h ban starting when the player gets online
2nd time AFK camping: 1 month
3rd time: he's donezo he can appeal

-This is the game I'm talking about:

-Suggestion of AFK timers: https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/afk-timers.68955/

I would say after a couple of minutes (Depends on wich map you're palying) a world border appears and getting smaller. Than you mus going to mid.

EDIT: I want to suggest this also in Survival Games. (World border suggestion) Some games are to long.

A punishment for being afk in ONE game is too harsh. You can't warn players whilst they're afk and be like 'well they were warned'. They are afk. They do not see the warning. They don't magically get the mc chat in their mind whilst they're afk.
3rd time: he's donezo he can appeal
Wayy too harsh.. They're only trying to save themselves from dying whilst going afk. I've done it a couple of times; where I get called to go eat food and I'm just at the start of a game, and I tell my team I'll only be 5 minutes and get back and the game will be halfway through and I can play as normal.. People don't always do it with the intention of ruining the game, sometimes they just need to go away from the computer for what they think will be a minute or two but ends up otherwise. And for that, a kick should be the biggest punishment, not a ban.

Getting kicked from the game by a timer is the way to deal with the problem, it deals with it whilst they're in the game, and gives them punishment enough because they don't win the game. Banning is a little extreme, especially for only one game.

There should be punishements for being purposefully afk. I mean why would you go afk and sneak all the time? And how is that even possible?

Just adjust the rules for campers, if someone is purposefully sneaking somewhere at the bottom of an island in a 1x2x2 area, it should be worth a temporary ban of X weeks

but why are AFK timers not added than? and I think if they shift in a 1x2x2 area they should get an official warning/ban of a day or so for purposefully AFK'ing

Because there are other projects to work on, and afk timers aren't the top priority.. It's not like it's never been suggested before, it's just never managed to get to development..

and I think if they shift in a 1x2x2 area they shouldn't get a ban.. First of all official warnings aren't exactly a thing because we can't really warn people unless we're there.. And a ban is a little extreme, especially if they're not there to actually get any of the warnings

Everyone can warn a person if they do something wrong and if they ignore the warning they will be reported. However I do agree with you that a ban is a little extreme :P
